ABOUT US
Bowman Monument
Co.
Bowman Monument Co., formerly known as
Geneva & Son Monument Co., began in
1989. Dan and Leah Bowman bought the
business in 2023.
Dan and Leah are both life-long natives of
Fort Scott, KS. They have two children, Emily
and Miles, a son-in-law, Colten Selvey and
one granddaughter, Blair.
Dan and Leah are also the owners of D&J
Glass and have been serving Fort Scott for
over 8 years, D&J Glass now shares a location
with Bowman Monument Co. Leah works at
Security First Title Company right next door
while continuing to assist both D&J Glass and
Bowman Monument! Emily, a cosmetologist
for 7 years helps in the office assisting
customers when she is not in the salon.
Colten spent the last 4 years working in
skilled nursing as a therapist assistant and
he now works full time at Bowman
Monument Co. with day to day operations.
Miles recently began his career with Craw-
Kan as a fiber splicer.
When not working Dan, Leah, and the kids
enjoy cheering on the Chiefs and spending
time with family and friends.
